Bell-Auto-Services have over 15 years experience in diesel performance tuning, mechanical and electronic repairs. The last 8 years of which have been perfecting diesel performance tuning on Land Rovers namely the TD5 Defender, TD5 Discovery and also the TDV6 and TDV8 in Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Discovery 3 applications.

One of our more recent projects (completed in 2007) was to be first tuning company to enhance the performance and drivability (including speed limiter removal) of the new Land Rover Defender 2.4TDCI fitted with the Ford Puma Diesel engine.

This was originally developed using 2 cars - one of which was the well known Allisport Land Rover Defender Puma, used as an early development car we were quickly able to development my replacement exhaust down pipe (to remove the Catalytic converter) and start the long, on going, mapping process.

We are one of the only tuners in Yorkshire that have a dedicated diesel remap tuning centre that specialize in Land Rover 4x4 diesel performance tuning and special build projects – which include the BAS live switching remap developed for the TD5, also including a joint development of a special TD5 VNT turbo conversion which is still on going.
